RAPS is Seeking a Full Time Caregiver to Assist an individual with MS (E25)
Location: Northeast Edmonton
Days: Monday, Tuesday Wednesday 1pm-6:30pm *39.5- 59.5 hours weekly.
Thursday and Friday 7am-6:30 pm +
Alternating weekends 8:30am-6:30pm
Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: mechanical and manual transfers, meal preparation and feeding assistance through G-Tube, Personal Care (dressing, toileting, Catheter care) dental assistance after all meals, extensive daily ROM exercises, possible outings (required to driver the employer’s vehicle), and light housekeeping, Laundry.
Qualifications and Other Requirements: Must have a recent criminal record check including a vulnerable sector check must either have health care aide certificate or a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in the health care field, G-Tube experience, medication administration through G-Tube considered an asset. Driver’s license and Vehicle required, must be vaccinated against Covid-19. The ability to work independently and be patient.
Rate of Pay: $18-$19/ hour
