Summary
The Field Service Representative will serve as the primary contact with our retail customer locations. The Field Service Representative will be responsible for restocking kiosks, order product, clean, perform preventative maintenance, and respond to service and repair dispatches as needed. The schedule for routine service calls is flexible within the week.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Re-stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed (determined by demand at the machine, or schedule).
  • Perform on-call repairs or adjustments to the machine when out of order.
  • Unscheduled service calls are expected to be responded to in four hours with an ETA targeting on-site visits within 24 hours.
  • Install machines in the local area.
  • Monitor territory reports daily for issues and contact stores to resolve connectivity or power issues.
  • Maintain inventory for re-stocking machines, in the Kiosk Tech’s possession.
  • Conduct store meetings and interact with store staff/management on a routine basis to ensure a good working relationship with our clients and promote the machine to improve revenue.
  • Drive revenue in territory by optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, store relationships, etc.
  • Follow store safety rules and work in a safe and healthy manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualification
  • Second school diploma or higher.
  • 1-2 years of advanced trouble-shooting skills (or equivalent education).
  • Mechanical and electro-mechanical skills an asset.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions very carefully.
  • Computer skills, basic excel and email skills are also required.
  • Ability to deal with customers and employees at all levels.
  • Ability to read, write and speak fluent English and/or French is an asset.
  • Able to work independently without supervision.
  • Must have computer / laptop.
  • Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
  • Some heavy lifting may be required – 25 lbs max
