We are searching for a full time, competent and reliable Gardener to maintain gardens at various client properties on both the north shore, as well as in the Vancouver area.
To succeed in this role, you should be physically fit and able to manage small, sometimes heavier equipment (i.e., lawnmowers, lawn combers, aerators, etc.). The perfect candidate will be friendly, professional and work well in a team.

Hourly rate: $20 per hour starting for Gardener position (or rate to be determined based on experience if you have some!)

Responsibilities:
- Maintain gardens to ensure they meet specific requirements and expectations.
- Performs maintenance such as cutting grass, basic pruning, edging, weed whacking and managing weed control, raking and cultivating garden beds, deadheading, blow downs, hedging, ladder work, tree pruning, etc.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, and perform tasks such as move soil, operate wheelbarrow, etc.
- Plant and nurture new trees, flowers, and various plants.
- Maintain a clean garden by clearing rubbish and litter from the garden and grounds.
- Ensure a safe environment for staff and clients by adhering to safety and health regulations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Ability to handle a range of power tools, lawn mower, weed whacker, pressure washer, etc.
- Knowledge of plants and gardening techniques an asset.
- Friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions.
