As a Labourer new to the roofing and/or sheet metal industries, we have established an apprenticeship program that will aid you in your growth to become Red Seal Journeyman. Did you know? Raven provides Fall Protection Training for all Roofers & Production crew as well as on the job training and certifications for Torching.

Hours:
Monday through Friday - some weekend work is available

Start times range between 6:30 am and 7:30am and runs through to the middle of the afternoon.

2 weeks annual vacation

• Job Duties required but not limited too:
• Take the lead in organizing the site materials and supplies
• Assist the Roofers in the application of Vapor Barriers, insulation, and roofing membranes
• Strong application with Hand Tools
• Attending Safety Meetings to learn and discuss the risks on the job site
• Organize, and move construction materials, tools, and equipment
• Push, pull, drag, and lift heavy materials and supplies
• Assist other workers with various tasks throughout the day
• Secure and cover all materials and supplies at the end of each day

Job Requirements and Expectations:

You can perform the physical aspects of the job – the bending, lifting, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods of time

• You are dependable & reliable arrive to work on time and prepared to work
• You have a keen eye for detail and who are genuinely interested in their new career
• You who are not afraid of heights but instead enjoy the spectacular views this career offers
• Good listeners who can follow clear instructions
• You enjoy being outdoors in all weather - heat, cold, wind and rain and who have the natural ability to protect themselves and others against the elements
• You are safety conscious and who are keen at identifying workplace hazards

All Divisions - CSA boots (steel toed) and a hard hat - *Mandatory tools will also be needed.

*Compensation will be based on specific Commercial Flat Roofing & Construction
experience.
