Toyotetsu Canada Inc. (TTCA) is a Tier 1 Automotive Parts Supplier to Toyota Manufacturing Facilities located in the heart of Norfolk County. We utilize state of the art technology to ensure our automotive parts are assembled with a high degree of quality.

We are currently hiring Production Team Members - no experience required. We have immediate openings as Material Handlers, Robotic Welding Cell Operators and Stamping Press Off-Loaders. These positions start on a contract basis but have strong potential to lead to future full time, permanent positions within 3-6 months. If you are looking for an entry level general labour position with opportunity for growth and advancement then this job is for you.

You will have an opportunity in one of 3 exciting departments;

1) Production Control - Forklift Operator/Tuggar Driver, Manual Labour

2) Robotic Welding

3) Stamping - Offloading and working with stamping presses

Job Summary Shifts: Availability for bi-weekly rotational shifts required (Days, Afternoons & Midnights) Contract Wage (3-6 months): $20.00

Experienced Candidates with over 1 year of general labour and/or manufacturing experience with 2 professional references start at the full-time pay rate of $22.00.

Full Time Wage: $22.00 - $25.38

Job Duties

• Production related tasks including: parts assembly, off-loading parts and transferring parts
• Operate machinery and equipment and assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to work in a fast paced, physically demanding work environment
• Repetitive work with some heavy lifting required
• Manual dexterity, hand-eye co-ordination and standing for extended periods required
• Proficient reading, writing and numerical skills
• Great teammate
• Physically fit for heavy lifting of >30 lbs
