REPORTS TO: Logistics Supervisor
JOB TYPE: Full-time, permanent
HOURS: Sunday to Thursday: 8am-5pm (Willing to be flexible with hours, including weekends)
JOB PURPOSE:
To be part of a team who is responsible for ensuring products reach their destinations in good condition and on-time.
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND GUIDELINES:
- Working with a team to ship, receive and move material
- Put product into storage location until ready for packing
- Pick and pack customer orders according to the company's standard operating procedures
- Assist in booking arrangements via courier and/or airline
- Delivering orders to local customers
- Maintaining accurate records of product received and shipped
- Ensuring quality of product is maintained throughout the packing and shipping process
- Assist in preparation of documentation required for the transportation of goods, including courier labels, AWB, Bill of lading and other documents as required
- Other duties/responsibilities as required by management
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have valid class 5 (British Columbia) drivers license
- Comfortable driving a van and large truck
- Computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrate initiative
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Organizational skills and sense of urgency
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma

- Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
