The GO Expansion scope : new electric locomotives, fleet upgrades, train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications and digital systems, maintenance, and much more. Purpose of the Job The Project Configuration and Change Engineer will support the Engineering Assurance Manager and/or the Configuration Manager to: Keep the project configuration under control during the whole lifecycle of the Project capturing and maintaining the configuration information Ensure Configuration is formalized and adequate at any time to deliver the configuration and change documentation to the stakeholders (customer, supplier, partners of project) Manage the Changes in the project or program Responsibilities The Configuration Engineer will: act as per Configuration and change Management Plan (CMP) instantiating the configuration and change management process in the Project/Program utilize the configuration and change management system (structure, tools) train team members to configuration and change management rules defined in the CMP ensure application of configuration and change standard procedures, instructions and templates provide Configuration and change management reporting and indicators help to identify and define which components will be considered as configuration items maintain accuracy and completeness of configuration items data all along project life cycle support team members to configuration and change management tools usage create and publish configuration baselines control configuration (compare As-Designed/As-Shipped/As-Installed) eventually plan, organize and attend the configuration control board meetings suggest improvements of the activity Educational requirements Degree in Engineering PEng. Purpose of the Job

Educational requirements

Degree in Engineering
PEng.

Qualifications
  • Rigorous and detail oriented
