HYBRID: This is a hybrid role (remote & in-office) as the hiring team will require the student to come to the Markham office approximately 2 -3 days a week. COVID-19 protocols are being strictly followed.

This role is a 12-month position, with a possibility (no guarantee) for a 4-month summer extension based on work performance and business conditions

THE ROLE:
The GPU Virtualization team works directly with Cloud Service Providers like AWS and Alibaba to unleash the power of the latest graphics processors in the cloud. We develop kernel driver software for professional, server-grade GPUs, such as AMD Radeon Pro V340, allowing a single GPU to be shared by up to 16 Virtual Machines.

Testing the latest virtualization driver on multiple platforms while working in a fast-growing team with industry experts. The candidate will be helping with qualification of our products including performance analysis, functional testing, and power measurements.

THE PERSON:
A successful candidate will work with senior test engineers on the

team to develop test automation for many of our reference solutions.

(VmWare, Xen, KVM, or HyperV) The candidate will be highly accurate and detail-oriented, possessing good communication and problem-solving skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define and execute test cases for GPU Virtualization.
Create and maintain automation test framework for KVM/Xen/VMWare hypervisor.
Analyze and narrow down issues found during test.
Conduct sanity test, integration test, solution test, Performance test, stress test.
Reproduce and analyze issues reported by customers.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Windows PowerShell, Linux shell script
Experience with software development process and tools such as debuggers and source code control systems a plus
Knowledge of KVM/XEN/VMWARE is a plus

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
BS/MS/Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or an equivalent
