Summary

Broadview Property Management is a family operated, family focused company and is hiring five new crew members to join our team. We are looking for individuals who love the outdoors, a high pace schedule, flexible days and working in a team environment. The crew members will be responsible for keeping the grounds of each property in pristine condition, under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor

Job Duties

  • Mow, trim and edge lawns
  • Weed and prune gardens, along with watering, fertilizing and annual planting when requested
  • Blow lawns, walkways and driveway
  • Ensure all river rock is clear
  • Ensure BBQ is clean, grease tray wiped out and cover placed back
  • Pressure wash driveway and walkways
  • Move furniture into storage
  • Assist with cleanliness of docks and decks
  • Clean and empty firepits
  • Collect garbage
  • Assist with the cleaning of eavestroughs
  • Assist with cut backs and fall clean up
  • Cut and stack firewood when needed
  • Pick up sticks and storm debris when necessary
  • Touch up paint as required
  • Assist with the cleanliness of building exterior and interior of sheds and boathouses and out buildings
  • Inform Maintenance Coordinator when repairs or pest control are needed
  • Assist with the closing properties and Dock Removals
  • Ability to learn or have knowledge of snow removal
  • Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and upper management

Requirements

  • Grounds maintenance experience considered an asset

  • Must be willing to perform all necessary and other tasks when assigned
  • Possess a valid G driver's license and have reliable transportation
  • Must feel comfortable with machinery (Tractor, Line Trimmer, Gators, Zero Turn, etc...)
  • Must be able to clear a Criminal Record Check and have a clean driving abstract

Work Conditions

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lb
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, Saturdays on occasion
  • Overtime as required
  • Hazards associated with the trade
  • Work entirely outdoors in all conditions, this includes rain and snow
  • Be able to abide by all provincial and federal COVID-19 protocols

Work Details

  • Contract Position From April 11- November 3 with the possibility for extension or year-round employment

Contract length: 8 months
Part-time hours: 20-48 per week

Salary: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
