We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team. The Handyman/woman will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks at our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of various trades and possess a wide range of practical skills. They should be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently to ensure that our facilities are well-maintained and in optimal condition.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, appliances, and systems as needed.
• Install and maintain fixtures, furniture, and equipment.
• Handle routine maintenance tasks such as maintaining electricals, plumbing, and help with minor fixes.
• Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment inventories.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a handyman or similar role.
• Solid understanding of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting principles.
• Proficient in using various tools and equipment for repairs and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or vocational training in a relevant trade.
• Previous experience in a facilities maintenance role.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
