Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic – Full time permanent opportunity.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Based in Swan Hills, Alberta
- Preventative maintenance on heavy duty trucks and Heavy equipment; Pickup trucks when time allows
- Ongoing diagnostic and repair of diesel engines, hydraulic systems and pumps
- Troubleshoot issues, inspect equipment and replace or repair defective parts
- Interpret work orders
- Required to go on service calls in the field
- Red seal HD Mechanic or equivalent experience
- Valid Class 5 license with a clean abstract - Class 1 or 3 license would be an asset
- Experience in hydraulic, electrical, and pump systems is an asset
- Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Able to provide your own tools
Starting wages $40 per hour, overtime and benefits available. Housing supplied or supplemented travel time for local candidates.
