We are looking for a customer-oriented, motivated individual to join our professional team as a Heavy Equipment Technician (Field Technician) at our Aldergrove, BC branch.

What You’ll Be Doing

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preventive maintenance on equipment at customer jobsites
• Troubleshoot equipment problems on customer jobsites
• Document all service and repair information
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
• Follow all safety policies and procedures on customer jobsites

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experienced and competent in servicing a wide range of heavy duty construction equipment in a shop environment and in the field
• Experience working on earthmoving as well as aerial equipment such as telehandlers, boom lifts, scissor lifts, air compressors etc. is required
• Experience with aerial equipment is a definite asset
• Very customer oriented, strong organization skills and able to work independently
• Class 5 driver's license with drivers abstract in good standing
• Pre-access drug & alcohol testing is a requirement for the worksite
• Red-Seal / Journeyman certificate preferred, or 3rd or 4th year apprentice
