RCE Ltd. is expanding and we are seeking full time heavy/light equipment operators for a variety of projects in the Edson area with a specific focus on construction, reclamation and site maintence. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operation of equipment, including excavators, dozers, grader, skidsteers, mini-hoe as well as the general maintenance of equipment, and general labouring tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Safe and effective operation of heavy and light equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance, and daily operation checks
- Execute a variety of projects to the specifications of the customer, under the guidance of the site supervisor.
- Acts independently with minimal supervision
- Perform general labourer tasks as required
- Safely Work and/or travel in varied terrains, weather conditions, isolated locations.
- Commitment to working safely and following safety protocols
Qualifications and Education Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Direct experience in earthworks projects, and road construction.
- 3 years or 5,000 hours in Heavy Equipment Operation (Excavator, Dozer, Rock Truck etc.)
- Finishing experience is considered an asset
- Possession of a valid class 5 Driver’s License (or equivalent) with a clean driving record
- Valid Safety Tickets (First Aid, Ground Disturbance)
- Physically fit, able to lift 50 pounds, and able to work on feet for long periods of time
- Willing to work as an equipment operator and/or labourer as required
- Can work well as a team member or independently with little direction
Positions are to start immediately, wage is relative to experience and qualifications.

Salary: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
