Helical Pile Installation Team Crew Member Job at Power Foundation Systems Ltd.
New opening for an experienced helical pile installer, or equipment operator to join the team at Power Foundation Systems Ltd. Position based out of London, ON. Full-time, year round position available. Ideal candidate should be a self-starter who is customer service focused, driven, and looking to build a rewarding career within the company.
Power Foundation Systems provides comprehensive services for projects requiring:
Excavation Support, Specialty Foundation Repairs, Waterproofing, Helical Piles, Micro Piles, and Under Pinning.
Work duties include (but not limited to):
- Operate mini-excavator, skid steer, and other small equipment to install helical piles and excavate areas
- Excavation and back fill by hand or mini-excavator.
- Load materials & equipment (heavy lifting)
- Manage small crew while following all protocols and standard operating procedures to guarantee safety and compliance on the job site
- Careful attention to detail and care for customer property
- Drive to and from jobsites with provided truck and trailer
- Complete detailed log reports per location
- Trouble shoot problems that arise on the job site to ensure project meets code requirements
- Manual excavation and labor as necessary
- Perform minor repairs and service to equipment
- Waterproofing or crack injection experience in an asset
Requirements:
- Current class G drivers license, DZ licence preferred
- Able to lift 100lbs regularly
- High school or equivalent (preferred)
- Construction experience necessary
- Horizontal drilling: 1 year (preferred)
