Home staging requires a strong understanding of design principles. A diploma in interior decorating is an asset as well as a portfolio to demonstrate your body of work.
As a home staging specialist, your responsibilities are to incorporate current trends into a home’s style and decor and make a living space look as appealing as possible to impress potential buyers. Your job duties are to install furnishing, décor and artwork to decorate buyers’ homes, then remove the staging items when the home goes off the market.
Strong customer service skills are required as occasionally you may need to interact with the clients. Strength in time management abilities is a necessity as Home stagers must be able to prioritize their tasks and complete them in a timely manner.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
