Housekeeper/Room Attendant Job at Best Western Plus Chemainus Inn
Our company is hiring a housekeeper who has a strong commitment to cleaning. The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for cleaning hotel rooms, as well as all public areas of the hotel and grounds. This is an excellent entry level position for individuals with experience in housekeeping, but we are also looking for high energy individuals with strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Clean guest rooms and common areas such as hallways and lobbies.
- Prepare rooms for guest occupancy such as cleaning and replenishing toiletries, towels, linens, and pillows.
- Clean furniture, walls, windows, mirrors, doors, and baseboards.
- Dust and vacuum floors.
- Sort and remove trash from rooms.
- Clean bathrooms.
- Stock supplies and restock as needed.
- Replenish ice buckets in rooms.
- Maintain supply levels of toiletry items.

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Chemainus, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
