Housekeeping (Hotel) Job at Hampton by Hilton
Must be available weekends and able to successfully work a very physically demanding job.
Start times:
Monday- Friday: 8:30am
Saturday: 9:00am
Sunday and Holidays: 10am
Finish times vary based on our occupancy. 25-35 hours a week
Job Description:
Cleaning guest rooms:
- Dusting and sanitizing
- Cleaning toilets and sinks
- Scrubbing, mopping and vacuuming floors
- Placing duvet covers on a duvet insert and making beds.
- Cleaning 10-16 guest rooms a day (most have 2 beds)
- Must be able to push and pull up to 100 pounds (housekeeping carts) and lift 30 pounds
- Must be able to work in an extremely fast paced environment with constant bending, lifting, kneeling, crouching, scrubbing etc.
- occasionally picking up garbage in the parking lot/ flower beds, cleaning the dumpster area, cleaning public washrooms.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25-35 per week
Salary: $15.50 per hour
