Human Resources Generalist Job at Halliwell Consulting
Our client located in Northern Ontario has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Generalist
Responsibilities
- Actively participate as a generalist in all Human Resources activities
- Inform employees about the company’s various policies and procedure and answer their questions
- Create and maintain personnel file and maintain up-to-date various databases
- Administrative support for payroll, benefits, group insurance, RRSP’s and health claim
- Assist and advice managers in the recruitment process
- Identification of recruitment sources, publication of job offer, search of candidates
- Prepare contracts and inform candidate
- Facilitate and coordinate the integration of new employees
- Collaborate in supporting the working hours schedule of the various departments
- Collaborate in the development and the implementation of the various HR team projects
- Perform any other task and/or projects assigned by a member of management
Qualifications
- University or college education in business administration and/or human resources
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in an industrial and/or unionized manufacturing environment
- Experience in a manufacturing industry would be an asset
- CPHR/CRHA designation would be an asset
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools : Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point
- Good Knowledge of UKG or other similar payroll system is an asset
- Any other combination of training and experience in human resources may be considered
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
