We are currently seeking individuals for the positions of Infant & Toddler Teacher, ECE Teacher and ECE Assistant Teachers for our Royal City centre located at New Westminster, BC.

Academics PreKindergarten Teachers create an environment of love and magic, which is vital for young children. Our Teachers encourage and support each child by promoting each child’s individuality and self-esteem. Our Teachers approach the child’s first learning years with much enthusiasm and dedication, ensuring that the children have fun all day regardless of whether they are playing or learning. Our Teachers’ goal is instill a lifelong love of learning in our students, and to help our children develop a passion for learning and prepare them academically, physically, and socially for school. Our Teachers help all parents participate in their children’s education, and support the parents as well as the children. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Professional education certificate requirement (ECEA, ECE, or Infant & Toddler)
• Able to work the Saturday day-time shift

• Hold and maintain the Level 1 First Aid certification

• Maintain a clear Criminal Record

• Willing to learn and complete all required Academics Teacher Training

• Special Need certification considered an asset

• Ability to use the computer to input developmental data, daily reports, IXL etc.

• Ability to effectively plan, organize and implement educational activities

• Ability to make decisions on behalf of the children and protect their well-being

• Must be able to manage confidential information

• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in case of emergency
