The Apex location in Edson, Alberta has an immediate opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative to join the team. Edson is an active marketplace, and the location has a successful team priding themselves as customer orientated and motivated to be recognized as the number one supply store in the area.

This Inside Sales position is scheduled from Monday – Friday, along with some assigned weekend and on-call hours. There will be some lifting and there will be deadlines to meet in order to keep our customers happy.

Some duties will include:

• · Market share growth through building relationships with clients
• · Ensuring customer service levels are maintained and customer satisfaction is maximized
• · Processing orders by telephone, mail, electronically or in person
• · Checking inventory for product availability, delivery, scheduling, and price verification
• · Processing paperwork and maintaining adequate records for reporting and tracking
• · Wrapping product, unloading, and reloading crates
• · Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• · Potential delivery of customer orders
• · Lifting products, basic warehouse duties

Qualifications:

• · Customer service, strong verbal, written communication, and trouble shooting skills
• · Able to prioritize and manage a busy workload
• · Must be able to work independently as well as be a team player.
• · Conscientious, detail oriented, excellent organizational and time-management skills
• · Professional, accountable, and dependable

The ideal candidate will have some experience in quoting & customer service, while being proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel. An aptitude for software systems will help you learn our internal inventory management and sales systems. They must be able to manage priorities to meet customer deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service. The successful candidate will also be responsible for building and maintaining a positive relationship with Apex Distribution's vendors/suppliers.
