Essential Functions/Qualifications/Education:

• Professional and courteous ongoing contact with customers before, during and after a sale; includes taking phone orders and servicing our walk-in customers
• Scheduling inbound and outbound deliveries
• Stock, organize, and maintain showroom to maximize sales
• Maintain proper project details, documentation, and orders for specific large projects
• Negotiate and administer purchase with suppliers and vendors.
• Source materials through appropriate vendors.
• Prepare purchase orders with accurate material descriptions, cost coding, pricing, and other appropriate data.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products
• Knowledgeable in basic construction systems, products and installation is an asset
• Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing to internal and external customers.
• Experience in sales preferred
• Preferred experience within the construction industry / building supplies
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Career Oriented, organized, able to multi-task, and driven
