Ontario Excavac has been a leader in hydro excavation since 1996. We are embarking on the next level of expansion. The Inside Sales Representative as an important player in making this happen. Offices are in Concord (Keele Street/Langstaff Road)

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Team Leader - Sales, the Inside Sales Representative will generate growth and revenue of existing and new customers while identifying cross- area opportunities in current and future areas of operations by coordinating the sales direction and availability with the managers for SWON, BOWES and SUEGTA

Key Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for all sales calls, texts and emails coming into OE
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Responsible for product knowledge to answer customer questions to bundle our services(ancillary services)
  • Will validate customers in coordination with: Finance, HSE, Operations, and Dispatch
  • Develop leads and referrals via internal and external sources (Hubspot, previous contacts etc) and follow up with rate/quote sheets
  • Follow up with daily dispatch/existing customers to solicit feedback, future opportunities and leads.
  • Continue validation and mining of the existing sales database based on fleet availabilty
  • Present recommendations or ideas on the constant improvement of the department and company

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Good understanding of the geographical layout of southern Ontario
  • Formal training in work scheduling a definite asset
  • Site experience in hydro-excavation, water project is an asset
  • Solid computer skills - Outlook, Word, and experienced using Excel
  • Strong command of the English language is required.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. .
  • Able to work well under pressure, while maintaining a professional demeanor at alltimes
  • Proactive, strong attention to detail, very well organized, with excellent prioritizing andproblem solving skills

Working Conditions

  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Open office environment
  • Lifting or moving up to 10lbs may be required
  • Overtime as required.

Salary: $55,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
