1. Teach, coach and supervise nursing students in classroom, lab and clinical settings.
2. Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
3. Participate in the development, maintenance and revision of curriculum.
4. Participate in program, campus, Saskatchewan Polytechnic, industry and professional or other stakeholder activities.
5. Travel will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
1. Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or in a related field required.
2. Eligible for registration (active status) with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses’ Association.
3. TLR participant level.
4. Minimum of two years recent clinical/teaching experience in the area of medical-surgical and/or pediatric-obstetrical nursing.
5. Ability to apply the theory, practices and principles of medical-surgical and pediatric-obstetrical nursing and adult education.
6. Small group facilitation skills and leading, modeling and teaching interaction skills.
7. Ability to arrange, maintain and evaluate resources.
8. Effective communication skills (written and oral).
9. Effective interpersonal skills and problem solving skills.
10. Demonstrates valuing diversity.
11. Effective instructional ability.
