Precision Concepts International LLC. (Formerly known as IntraPac) Is hiring a motivated full-time Intermediate Accountant to support our plant operations. Based in Calgary, this role is part of the operations team and reports to the Plant Controller. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Calgary facility in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and assist in any ad hoc projects / tasks as required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Prepare and post all general ledger journal entries (accruals, recurring, adjusting)
• Prepare and maintain general ledger account reconciliations and schedules, and investigate any variances
• Assist in period-end close and reporting, ensuring an accurate and timely period-end close
• Assist in the interim and year-end audit process
• Assess current processes, procedures, and internal controls, and make recommendations for improvements
• Continuously improve processes and procedures to evolve month-end deliverables alongside technology, logistical, and operational changes
• Actively partner with various departments across the facility to assist with ad-hoc reporting, analysis, projects, and decision support as required
• Be an active member of the leadership team willing to brainstorm issues and be flexible in completing tasks
• Ad hoc duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, or equivalent experience
• Experience in Manufacturing
• Full cycle accounting
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Intermediate to advanced proficiency required)
• Experience with ERP systems and/or Macola ES is an asset
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to build collaborative relationships with colleagues, clients, and vendors
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, with a strong desire for continuous improvement
• Candidates must be adaptable and flexible, can manage multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy, prioritize and meet deadlines
• A self-starter and highly motivated professional
• Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
