Our Next Intermediate Engineer…


Our Intermediate Engineer will provide a working knowledge civil and / or environmental engineering concepts (intermediate technical expertise) to support integrated mine planning and closure solutions for our clients. This position will help to drive, provide input, and support the development of Okane’s Technical Expertise to provide our clients with standard and innovative ways to mange mine closure risks.


Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Apply an intermediate understanding of the engineering area of discipline and the integration to Okane core service offerings.
  • Lead and manage technical interdisciplinary projects of moderate scope and provide lead and management support on complex projects.
  • Lead proposals of moderate scope and provide support on complex proposals.
  • Complete technical background reviews for project and conceptual model development.
  • Prepare proficient technical documentation and reports in area of technical discipline at an intermediate level.
  • Interact competently with internal and external stakeholders of varying levels of expertise.
  • Foster and maintain client relationships
  • Complete simulations of geotechnical, hydrologic and hydrogeologic conditions (as directed and reviewed by senior technical staff).
  • Plan and execute field investigations such as material sampling programs, monitoring, and construction QA/ QC.
  • Update and maintain databases.
