WHAT THIS CHALLENGE IS ABOUT

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to the Special Situations team. You will work under the general supervision of the Senior Director, Special Situations, to compile and analyze relevant data for transactions under analysis and evaluate various business and strategic plans transversally across the IC portfolio.

  • Participate in the collection, synthesis and updating of data related to investments and the real estate market ;
  • Assist the team in financial modeling to analyze the profitability of investment opportunities ;
  • Participate in the preparation of financial presentations;
  • Carry out ad hoc analysis, such as economic updates, market studies and corporate profiles.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Enrolment in an undergraduate program in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, valuation, or another relevant field, with at least two years completed ;
  • Fluency in written and spoken French and English; solid business writing skills ;
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs ;
  • Excellent analytical skills, proactive attitude, and attention to detail ;
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines ;
  • Good communicator, team player and self-starter; motivated, organized, and outgoing.
