International Purchasing and Inventory Supplychain Control Clerk/Supervisor Job at Mini Yellow House

You will be expected to capability perform the following duties on the job:

Main Duties:
1) Assist in sourcing and finding source factories for products in Taiwan, Hongkong and Mainland China
a. Tasks including:
i. Invoice and Purchase Order supervision of Staff,
ii. Finding new manufacturers for potential products,
iii. Sample Product Testing and Confirmation,
iv. Requisition of supplies and materials required for daily operation,
v. Total Product Cost Calculation

2) Coordinate and supervise Logistics and Shipping processes and personal for goods procured.
a. Tasks include:
i. Arrange effectively and affordability for each supplier to ship orders to Shenzhen, Hong Kong or Kaohsiung to be combined for shipping to Canada.
ii. Set up delivery appointments on incoming cargo with Distribution Centers and central storage facility.
iii. Arrange for economic, fast and safe shipping and customs clearance from China to Canada and monitor entire shipping progress.
iv. Recognize and analyze potential transportation problems and determine solutions

3) Coordinate and supervise logistics and delivery of orders from China to Canada
a. Tasks include:
i. Arrange for the shipment of goods from Taiwan, Hongkong and Mainland China to Canada.
ii. Assign and supervise staff in preparing, compiling and sorting of shipping documents.
iii. Track incoming domestic shipments from Taiwan, Hongkong and Mainland China and assist the company in expanding shipment networks and connections with intermediaries in China
iv. Monitor all documentation and customs processes in timely manner, to avoid delays in clearance and delivery of orders to our facility in Canada.

4) Responsible for Inventory Control and Assisting Management:
a. Tasks include:
i. Make sure goods arrive according to order specifics within shipment dates.
ii. Ensure the quantity of inventory remains at a reasonable level for all products within the warehouse.
iii. Ensure there is no backlog and continuous flow of inventory.
iv. Ensure there are always new products available for company.
v. Ensure safety standards are met by all workers within organization and that inventory is accurately and safely taken care of.

5) Ensuring daily smooth operations of equipment and computer systems.
a. Tasks include:
i. Making sure all inventory management computer system are functional and in smooth working order.
ii. Making sure staff understand how to use inventory system in an effective manner for maintaining inventories and processing transactions.
iii. Check and inspection all loading equipment for safety and function. Arrange for maintenance and repair work for equipment as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.50-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
