IT ERP Systems Analyst


Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping a division
of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a IT ERP Systems Analyst in our Windsor, Ontario Facility. This ERP Analyst will serve as the first level of support for all departments for end user transactions in the ERP system in addition to supporting other business applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The role will be required to work across the functional business groups in the definition of requirements, solution design, configuration, testing, maintenance, and implementation of ERP Systems
  • Review current processes to suggest and implement automation or re-designing.
  • Support all business systems including material scheduling, shipping & receiving, barcode scanning and database systems.
  • Administer/maintain the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) related sub-systems: databases, Zebra and RF scanners, Production Control System, portals, web services etc.
  • Responsible for ERP System Maintenance and daily checks.
  • Analyzes the existing business processes and makes recommendations for areas of improvement or automation.
  • Register, collect details, troubleshoot, update, provide solutions and resolve routine issues using IT Helpdesk system and escalate issues as needed in a timely manner
  • Facilitate and lead inter-departmental communication related to Business Application requirements
  • Apply technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of the data; process, design, and present data to help people and business make effective decisions.
  • Ongoing support to ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
  • Abide by all Company policies including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality, Human Resources policies, and the Employee Handbook

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience dealing with at least one Tier-1 automotive manufacturer.
  • Experience in Microsoft Suite Products
  • EDI operations support experience
  • Exposure to EDI standards (EDIFACT, ANSI X12)
  • OpenText TGMS/GSX Platform experience
  • Programming skills would be an asset.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multi-tasking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. Relevant industry certifications are a plus.
  • Extensive experience, 5-10 years, with an ERP system especially in manufacturing environment
