We are looking for leaders to join us in Brantford, Ontario as a IT Operations Leader in December 2022 or January 2023. This role is on-site from P&G's Brantford Mixing Center.

The IT Operations Leader is accountable for all Information Technology (IT) and Global Business Services (GBS) Applications - governs their lifecycle from implementation to operations, ensures compliance and resiliency, drives digital culture at the Site. Co-owns creation and delivery of Site Digital Strategy, owns IT Portfolio and the process for aligning associated IT budget, acts as a Client Manager for all local IT deployments (including global/regional initiatives), governs local innovation to enable digital transformation sustainably by keeping them in sync with global solutions, owns the processes for digital compliance. Manages 1-2 key site projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for all IT Operations at the site, owning the IT operational reporting/scorecard. You will lead IT Change Management and Incident Management & Analysis.
  • Lead IT Continuity Planning and Execution to avoid unplanned downtime and ensure IT security and compliance with company technology standards. This includes ownership for both the physical IT Facilities (Data Centers, IT Rooms & Cabinets) and the logical IT applications used within the site. You will execute IT Continuity assessments, perform quarterly IT Infrastructure assessments, & manage systemic remediation of all identified issues.
  • Apply ITIL, project management, engineering, and leadership skills across different teams at the site to align plans, solve problems, and deliver results
  • Contribute to the site digital master plan and create differentiating business models and a secure operations environment with new technology and processes
  • Engage directly with the site leader as a member of the lead team and interact with the GBS central teams for Network, Server & other IT Application support
  • Build organizational capability while delivering upskilling initiatives for digital technology

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master Degree. IT background is an asset.
  • Located in or willing to relocate to Brantford, Ontario (Relocation Benefits are available if you're located >60km from Brantford Mixing Center)
  • Experience and/or a passion for learning and applying skills in any of the following digital technology areas; cyber/information security, IT Operations, Application management, Network operations, connected devices, and personal computing.
  • Demonstrate accountability & ownership to lead IT technical incidents to resolution, working with the relevant team(s)
  • Problem-solving skills and critical thinking in case of outages or operational issues with warehousing applications, IT devices, networks, data center operations, etc.
  • Leadership and communication skills to proactively identify, manage and communicate critical issues, elevating them to site leadership & the right operation team/s
  • Solution-oriented mindset to prevent problems from occurring in the technical area of responsibility, collaborating with multiple teams and partners to follow operating standards
  • Experience with supervising & collaborating with local/global operational resources that deliver IT operations at the site (ie Xerox, P&G Network Ops, HCL, DXC Server OPs, MYPG Services, etc.) is an asset.

Preferred Skills:

  • Technology skills/experience including IT Infrastructure (i.e. Network, Servers/Data Center Ops, IT Devices)
  • Intermediate/Proficient in Project Management
  • Lead communication with matrixed Business & IT teams and their leadership
