A Support Technician is required on-site in our Grande Prairie office. The Support Technician is responsible for working with the technology department and the Director of Technology to provide technical support to end users across all offices. This position will report to the Directory of Technology.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Provide technical support to resolve issues with ProLaw legal software, Microsoft programs, and additional applications used by the firm.
  • Work with end users to diagnose issues, provide timely support solutions, and escalate issues to vendor support as needed.
  • Setup computer stations, install computer peripherals, and install required software applications.
  • Assist with video conferencing equipment setup for court appearances and client meetings.
  • Use the ticketing system to contribute to the I.T. support team, record issue resolutions, and communicate with end users.
  • Support the development of technology procedures and implementation of new software and hardware as directed by the Director of Technology.

Required Skills:

  • Diploma or certificate in a related field preferred.
  • I.T. support experience in a professional services organization preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Google Suite, and Adobe programs.
  • Experience with databases (specifically SQL) and data management is an asset.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a timely manner.

Location:

Due to the nature of the work the successful candidate will be based out of the Grande Prairie office.

Compensation & Hours:

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. Regular full-time position with working hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM subject to change from time to time. We provide a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, prescription drug, life insurance and disability.
