Part-time Job Coach - 16 hours/week - Haldimand/Norfolk

As a member of our team you will:

• Receive paid training

We are looking for candidates who will:

• Work with individuals who have a disability to secure competitive employment
• Support individuals who have a barrier to employment to achieve employment goals through resume prep, job coaching, on-site training assistance
• Approach prospective employers to find job opportunities in a workplace
• Demonstrate respectful communication and are team players
• Are enthusiastic, caring and resilient and seeking a career that enables you to make a difference in someone's life everyday
• Possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License - G or G2
• Has own vehicle or access to vehicle
• Possess Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certificate - or take our course
• First-Aid/CPR Level C - must be current or obtain at own cost
• Computer/Cell phone experience required
• Possess key threshold competencies: accountability, advocating for others, collaborating and creative problem solving
• Have experience in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is an asset

Community Living Haldimand has been supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1958. We are located in Haldimand County, with sites in Dunnville, Cayuga and Hagersville.
