Position Overview:
Join the Finning family! Finning Canada is seeking a Journeyperson Helper to join our growing team in Prince George. As the J/Helper, you will be assisting Journeyperson Mechanics with minor repairs, general clean-up of shop, yard and machines.

Job Description:
- General service shop duties
- General clean up of shop, yard and machines
- Aid Mechanics with the removal and installation of guards and steaming
- Minor service of machines (oil changes etc.)
- Minor repairs and assisting Journeyperson Mechanics as required
- Shipping and receiving of machines
- Fueling machines
- Attachment maintenance
Note this is a 7 x 7 Continuous Shift
**Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement**
Qualifications:
- Completion of Grade 12
- Mechanically inclined, ability to follow directions,
- Work well within a team environment and contribute positively towards company goals
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work successfully under minimal supervision
- Effective communication skills – both verbal and written
- Past experience in a maintenance shop environment, mechanical experience, is beneficial
- Forklift certification would be considered an asset
