Our Opportunity
As the successful candidate, you will be involved with the design of complex mechanical/piping systems for industrial facilities. You will work within both 2D and 3D model environments and interface regularly with other disciplines, vendors and customers. You will be responsible for preparing mechanical/piping layout drawings, piping isaometric drawings and process and instrumentation/control drawings while adhering to project procedures, engineering design criteria, design specifications and applicable codes & standards. Field visits to site will be required as well as a strong commitment to fostering and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.
Requirements
- Diploma of Technology in a Mechanical or Piping program, or equivalent industry experience (New grads welcome!)
- Industry experience using AutoCAD or 3D modelling software, such as Plant 3D is an asset, but not required
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplined environment
- Willingness to learn and strong attention to detail
