What You'll Do at Enel::
The primary task of the Key Account Manager is to coordinate market development activities, monitoring pricing strategy and develop the salesforce consistently with company guidelines and regional targets
Identify and close sales opportunities in accordance with Gridspertise’s overall strategic plans and financial objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with multiple relevant stakeholders at distribution system operators.
  • Interact with new and existing customers and prospects on a regular basis to understand their technical and commercial requirements.
  • Originate new leads and opportunities through cold calling, email and social media campaigns, targeted marketing, networking and participating in trade shows and conferences.
  • Oversee the full sales cycles, provide account forecasts, and keep the company’s CRM and other company information tools up to date.
  • Lead and guide RFI, RFP, and RFQ submissions, taking leadership in cross collaboration with internal teams across multiple disciplines.
  • Negotiate complex contracts and understand all influencing factors of the client’s decision-making process. Bring-in and manage technical, legal, planning, operations, logistics, and financial internal resources to support and execute deals.
Technical-professional knowledge:
  • Commercial, marketing, negotiation and communications skills
  • Understand the utility regulatory challenges of the NA market.
  • Knowledge about electric grid technologies and future smart grid devices and services
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM tools like SalesForce

Who You Are::
  • 5 + years of B2B sales experience in the utility / energy industry; energy technology sales experience a plus
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, consultative services-led sales engagements and multi-party negotiations with partners and clients in the energy sector.
  • Ability to both manage existing accounts as well as build and close new relationships with strategic accounts.
  • Experience of having developed and executed business strategies to substantially increase assigned territory growth and revenues
  • Successful proven track record of leading, negotiating, influencing and closing within the sales cycle including negotiations skills balanced between client requirements and business case requirements
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) will be the main used language. Spanish considered a plus.
  • Ability to travel to meet with customers 25-50% of time
What You've Accomplished::
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics engineering or economics required, master’s degree considered a plus.
