Details: Full Time, Nights, 12:00AM to 8:00AM, 32 hours per week, 4-week rotating schedule
Schedule:
Week 1: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Thursday
Week 2: Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Week 3: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
Week 4: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Thursday
Pay Scale: Up to $20.85 per hour
Location: Sakaw Terrace, 5815 Mill Woods Road South, T6L 0B1
Typical Duties: The position is responsible for a combination of Kitchen Aide and Housekeeping Aide duties. Kitchen duties include: portioning and labeling food, cleaning food areas, dining areas and equipment, dishwashing, preparing beverages, sandwiches, salads and snacks, peeling and chopping vegetables, setting and clearing dining room tables. Housekeeping duties include: cleaning bathrooms, hallways and common areas, disinfecting, floor care, daily laundry, restocking supply areas, and other site-specific duties as assigned.
Experience/Education Preferences:
* Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal are required
- Experience in food preparation is preferred
- Ability to operate commercial dishwasher equipment is desired
Other Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills, including the ability to interact with everyone in a respectful manner
- Ability to demonstrate responsible judgement in problem solving
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a criminal records check and be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
