Full Job Description
We are looking for a Full-time, Part-time Line Cook & Kitchen Staff
LOCATION
KINTON RAMEN NEWMARKET – 18185 Yonge St. East Gwillimbury, ON L9N 0H9
SALARY
$15.50/hour + Tips (Salary increase depending on ability)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and portion all items, promptly, efficiently and with attention to detail
- Utilize various kitchen skills and cooking methods to meet Brand standards
- Operate dishwasher as directed. Ensure chemicals and the right water temperature
- Wash and sanitize all glassware, dinnerware, cutlery and serviceware, ready for use
- Perform necessary trash and waste duties as required
- Follow proper inventory and receiving procedures
- Other duties may be assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Experience
- Minimum of 6 months of previous restaurant kitchen or cooking experience is an asset
- Food Handler, Food Safety certification is an asset
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication skills in English; Japanese is an asset
- Positive attitude and Energetic – ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player – assist in a positive guest experience
- Proven ability to keep an organized work environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires standing for up to 8 hours per shift, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing all day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, colour vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This position also requires lifting up to 25lbs from floor to waist, waist to shoulder and shoulder to above head. This position also required twisting, turning, and reaching.
