Ocean Pacific Marine is the most comprehensive marine store and boatyard on Northern Vancouver Island. Serviced by a 110ton Marine Travelift, Ocean Pacific Marine has been providing parts and service to recreational boaters and commercial vessels in the Campbell River area since 1985. Boatyard projects vary in scope from local recreational & commercial vessels to Department of National Defense & Government of Canada vessels including Coast Guard & RCMP.
We are currently accepting applications for a seasonal:
· Labourer, Marine Travelift
The successful candidate will assist with the lifting and blocking of marine vessels in the Boatyard. Once vessels have been lifted the Travelift Assistant will pressure wash the hull of the vessel ensuring proper safety and environmental precautions are followed.
The Travelift Assistant will meet and greet customers and inform them of Travelift procedures. They will also assist with the cleaning of the yard surfaces, buildings and general labour tasks as needed.
As this is a labourer position, heavy lifting is required. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious and have previous experience working in an industrial environment.
This is a seasonal, full-time, Monday-Friday position with an opportunity for overtime. Candidates must have a flexible schedule.

Salary: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
