Pro Pile is a privately-owned company founded in 1987 specializing in steel driven piles and is one of Northern BC’s largest supplier of piling material and steel culvert pipe. We have been proudly servicing British Columbia and Northwest Alberta for over 35 years.

Pro Pile offers clients a respected reputation and over three decades of successful operations. Our head office is located at 12156 242 Road in Fort St. John, BC, with 24-hour dispatch. We service several variations of work including steel driven piles at multi-well pads, piling installations for facilities, compressors, dehydrators, and pre-drilling. Our experienced staff uses a high-quality air drill to ensure that boreholes are drilled with accuracy.

About the Job

Lend a helping hand and getting your foot in the door. The job of a Field Labourer is a great introduction to the Oil and Gas Industry. You help where you are needed and perform odd jobs on site as requested. This means that your role changes daily, and your tasks will depend on the people you are working with.

Job Duties

a) assist operators and other crew members with a variety of manual labour-related tasks;

b) dismantling and assembling of pile driver and equipment;

c) assisting truck operators in conducting pre- and post-trip inspections;

d) maintaining an orderly safe job site;

e) loading and unloading job site equipment and materials;

f) transporting equipment to and from the job site;

g) mobile equipment operation (skid steer, loader);

h) preventative maintenance on equipment and trucks (e.g., greasing, refueling, etc.);

i) various assigned duties around the shop and yard;

j) other duties, as required.

Education

There are no specific educational requirements, however progressive experience is required to move up to a more senior operating position. A high school diploma may be required at more senior levels.

Work Conditions
