STIKEMAN ELLIOTT LLP, is looking for an Employment & Labour associate with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our busy Employment, Labour & Pensions department in Toronto. The successful candidate will advise and represent clients on a wide range of employment & labour matters including corporate transactions, the employment relationship in unionized and non-unionized settings and litigation matters.

The successful candidates will have:

• a law degree and membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario;
• excellent academic credentials;
• a breadth and depth of practice experience in, and technical knowledge of, Employment & Labour law;
• excellent business judgment and strong analytical and drafting skills;
• excellent interpersonal and client service skills, strong initiative, and the ability to work well on a variety of teams; and
• excellent organizational, project management and leadership skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
