Labourer - Facilities Job at Town of Banff

As a member of the Facilities department, you “Take Care of Banff” by assisting in daily operations and general maintenance such as snow removal & minor facility repairs of Town of Banff buildings while providing excellence in customer service. The Facility Labour reports to the Foreman, Facility Operations.

Working safely is a priority and a condition of employment at the Town of Banff. You will receive safety training and resources on the operation and use of power tools and light equipment to perform your duties. This position is based on 40 hours a week and operates seven days a week, with a specific schedule posted. You must be physically able to meet the demands of the job such as lifting, standing, walking, and tolerating extreme winter temperatures and weather conditions.

You can provide a valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license and clear Driver’s Abstract upon hire. Preference to candidates with facility operating experience and safety program experience. Attributes of a sense of humour, team orientation, independence and attentiveness are included in the selection criteria as a part of our team’s key behaviours.
