Thrive Landscapes Ltd is seeking energetic, fit individuals to join our team.

Position: This is a part-time/full-time position working a possible forty hours per week. We are located in Parksville and serve Qualicum Beach to Parksville and all places in between.

Position Description: Working under direct supervision, the chosen applicant(s) will be responsible for assisting Lawn Care Team Leader in the care of lawns for our valued clients.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operate equipment such as line trimmer, lawn mower, leaf blower, core aerator, dethatcher, fertilizer spreader, lawn seed spreader, general hand tools
• Demonstrating a positive disposition
• General care for clients lawn
• Adhering to proper uniform standards
• Arriving at work on time, ready and prepared to work
• Prepare work records
• Willing to participate in other work operations as required

Qualifications:

• A willingness to learn new skills and develop your abilities
• Some experience cutting lawns is an asset
• Valid BC Class 5 Drivers License is very sought after

Some skills you may have:

• Ability to operate tools and equipment necessary to complete day to day tasks
• Planning, problem solving organizational and interpersonal skills
• Must be physically fit to perform all job tasks
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing
• Willingness to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions
