The experience you bring:

• Journeyman's certificate, Red Seal, or equivalent qualification
• Desire to work in a leadership role, by leading overall shop activities.
• Desire to expand your expertise to cover the rest of our fleet
• Welding and fabricating experience is considered an asset
• Physically fit – heavy lifting required

As a working Lead Mechanic, you will also be working closely with our Asset Manager to lead overall shop activities, maintain positive culture, and to ensure that the right decisions are made on the floor to keep operations moving smoothly and effectively. This includes repairing, maintaining, and improving our fleet of equipment, to ensure our fleet runs smoothly and to maximize uptime for our field crews.

Equipment in our fleet:

• Heavy trucks, Cummins and Detroit
• Heavy trailer and super b flat decks
• ½ ton-1 Ton trucks
• John Deere Excavators
• John Deere Skid steers
