Lead Operator for Conference Calls (Remote Available) Job at Accutel
$17–$20 an hour
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Answering bells for conference calls and collecting the information from caller
- Support /Lead Operator on conference calls
- Responsible for all elements of pre and post event calls such as setting up initial conference, leading Q&A period etc.
- Responsible for the processing incoming conference calls for numerous clients which includes obtaining, entering and verifying requested information (e.g., name, company, title, e-mail address, etc.)
- Answering basic conference call questions, resolving basic issues, providing customer service and adhering to approved scripts
- Researching required information using available resources
- Identifying and escalating priority issues
- Following up on customer calls when necessary
- Performing operator-assisted and event calls in a professional manner
- Striving to achieve total customer satisfaction and continuously improve service delivery

- The ability to resolve customer issues in a tactful and professional manner
- The ability to use and interpret multiple systems for booking and inquiries
- Clear and concise telephone communication skills coupled with “active listening” skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues
- High concentration and energy levels, with the ability to multi-task
- Advanced computer/key boarding skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills (North American Accent preferred)
- Fluent in French & English is a an asset
- Weekends or Evening/early mornings may come up
- Shifts could range between 7am - 8 pm
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week
Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evenings
- Monday to Friday
