Learning Support Worker

Applications will be accepted for the following position:

Location: David Hoy Elementary School
Position: Learning Support Worker
Hours of Work: 6 hours per day, 5 days per week
Rate of Pay: $24.81 per hour as per the current Collective Agreement
Duties to Commence: As soon as possible
Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
Completion of an Education Assistant Certificate program
BC driver’s license - Class 5 Full Privileged and an exemplary driving
record/current driver's abstract
6 months of experience working with children/youth who have
intellectual/behavioral or multiple disabilities
The rate of pay above is based on hiring a qualified LSW. Should you not have
the required qualifications, you will be paid at the LSW (Non-Qualified) rate.
