About the Hotel

Hilton Garden Inn has 155 rooms beautifully designed rooms, owned and operated by Easton's Group of Hotels. Conveniently located near top attractions in Ontario, including Canada's Wonderland, Vaughan Mills Mall and York University.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Safety:

  • Practice strong risk management.
  • Ensure the safety and supervision of patrons in the Pool, Water Slide, and surrounding area.
  • Ensure compliance with the Ontario Health Regulations and all relevant policy and procedures manuals.
  • Participate in emergency drills

Operations:

  • Ensures a safe swimming environment for members and guests through supervision. Ensures that any equipment used is in place and operational and that the equipment is stored away after use.
  • Executes emergency procedures and uses safety/rescue equipment.
  • Chemical Testing and Balancing when required Daily checks of pool furniture to ensure all are in good condition and tidy around the pool area.
  • Daily pickup of clean towels and delivery of soiled towels to the laundry room.
  • Work in accordance with the Hotels Health and Safety guidelines

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid Standard First Aid with CPR-C certification
  • Must have a current National Lifeguard Service certification Able to work in a team environment and independently
