Scotlynn Commodities is seeking Logistics Coordinators for our offices in Brantford and Norfolk County, ON. The Logistics Coordinator an entry level position performing tasks ranging from data entry, appointment and load booking to driver dispatches and location tracking. Solid communication skills are essential for this position as you are a critical member of our team interacting with various levels of the supply chain.

Responsibilities Include:

• Communicate with driver/carrier dispatch daily
• Negotiate fair rates with carriers
• Track and trace shipments
• Customs processing and clearance tracking
• Pick-up and delivery appointment booking
• Work quickly and effectively to resolve problems that may develop on freight shipment

Required Qualifications:

• Previous dispatch experience would be an asset, but is not required.
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of PC Miler, McLeod Load Manager, Peoplenet, iBright would all be beneficial, but not required

We work Monday to Friday from 8am-5pm in the office. Our employees come from many different backgrounds, but all have one thing in common, the drive to succeed.
