JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the responsibility of the site logistics manager, you will be in charge of the team that does the handling and distribution of aircraft components. Privileged interface between the logistics hub and the production, you will coordinate the availability in production of the elements in time and in quality. You will evolve in a unionized environment on several aircraft programs.

Responsibilities

Ensure a safe activity for employees;

Deliver on time and in quality the elements for the internal and external customers;

Control the costs of the internal logistics team;

Supervise a team of unionized blue collar workers;

Improve the efficiency of logistics activities.

Tasks

Create a favorable environment for the logistics team;

Plan the tasks of the logistics agents to meet customer needs;

Ensure the quality control of the goods and the respect of the quality procedures;

Manage the flow and stocks of goods while respecting the imposed deadlines;

Prioritize actions in a moment of intense activity;

Comply with the standards in force for handling and moving loads;

Control and reduce costs: monitoring of purchases relating to the operation of the service and investments;

Management of staff schedules, payroll and HR issues;

Provide training and skills development for logistics teams;

Participate in the deployment and optimization of logistics processes;

Participate in the deployment of the our clients' System;

Optimize the layout of the logistics area and participate in the deployment;

Participate in the implementation and maintenance of improvement projects (kanban, USM, etc.);

Maintain a relationship with all other operational professions: methods, production, planning, quality, transport and tools.

REQUIRED PROFILE

- Ease of working and developing a team;

- Leadership, sense of responsibility and strength of proposals;

- Great adaptability to deal with hazards;

- Autonomy;

- Logistics and a great sense of leadership;

- Knowledge or ease with computer software (SAP / Office Suite / Power BI);

- Bilingual (French and English).
