Lot & Facility Coordinator

Lot Repsonibilities

  • Wash trucks keep front-lined units looking polished.
  • Perform interior cleaning on all trucks as they arrive to the yard.
  • Replace and repair mud-flaps on all trucks as they arrive to the yard.
  • Start-up and log for all trucks once weekly.
  • Prepare trucks to be shown for booked appointments by performing a quick interior check, confirm all latches are closed, parts are secured, and doing a start-up.
  • Identify and communicate cosmetic and operational deficiencies (broken latches, dead batteries, low fuel, check engine lights, tire issues).
  • Assist in moving inventory around the lot as required.
  • Serve as main pick-up & delivery person for service parts using the company provided truck.
  • Daily walk of yard to clean up all debris and to ensure extension cords and other tools are not laying around.

Facility Responsibilities

  • Cut & maintain the grass.
  • Basic garden maintenance (turning of beds, replacing mulch, weeding etc.)
  • Snow removal from yard, walkways, and inventory.
  • Emptying of all garbage receptacles in and around the building.
  • Organization of used tires, scrap materials, and surplus used parts into designated areas.
  • Assist with day-to-day physical activities as required. (general labour).
  • Identify and report any deficiencies in the building, lot, and property.

The overall objective of this individual is to take ownership and pride in the physical appearance of the entire dealership and inventory. Looking at the business from the perspective of a first-time client, putting our best foot forward with kept gardens, clean windows, and a top-drawer overall appearance.

Required: G Driver's Licence with responsible driving record.

Preferred: 1A/CDL Driver’s License with a responsible driving record.
