Job Type:

Qualifications:

  • Work Authorization (Mandatory)
  • Valid Class (5) Driver's License (Mandatory)
  • Landscape Maintenance: min 5 years experience (Preferred)
  • Leading and Managing a crew (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead your assigned team to carry out maintenance operations across all assigned properties

and ensure tasks are completed to an exceptional level of quality within the allocated time designation.

  • Follow and complete all defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each property visit.

Set the work pace for your team and physically work alongside the team to ensure you maintain a productive pace. You are responsible for delegating tasks to crew members, checking in on their progress, and ensuring the tasks are completed correctly.

  • Hands-on working with the crew: Lawn mowing, fertilizing, and line trimming, edging beds, tilling, and weeding of beds, blowing and clean-up of debris, maintaining annuals, perennials, shrubs, and hedges. Programming of irrigation, basic irrigation adjustments, and repairs.
  • Hardscape maintenance: ensure hard surface areas remain clean and free of staining and those hardscape elements like metal gates and ornamentals pots etc. are wiped down and cleaned regularly.
  • Driving a company truck, including picking up and dropping off other crew members on the way to and from job sites.
  • Ensuring the truck is fully equipped and the equipment is well maintained and in good working order.
  • Communicating in a timely manner when equipment repairs tools and supplies are needed.

Ensuring vehicle and equipment are fuelled properly.

  • Monitor team’s attendance, entering the times into the system on time daily.
  • Maintain a respectful, courteous, and professional demeanour.
