Manager of Business Relations

The Manager of Business Relations will report directly to the CEO and CFO.

Job Description:

· Facilitate monthly management team meetings for both Habitat Huronia ReStores to ensure consistency between store management, stores; ensure continuous learning and build capacity for the brand

· Collaborate and develop business opportunities with internal and external partners including brand marketing, ecommerce and social media;

· Increase business generating revenue by prospecting for new strategic partners, maximizing revenue with existing partners and donors;

· Liaise with other ReStore managers and local suppliers. Support the Restore managers with their efforts to build relationships with local suppliers;

· Using POS data compile/create reports for CEO and CFO with trend data, YoY and department trends;

· Analyze the business and create, communicate clear action plans that optimize results and ensure effective execution of all operational activities;

· Monitors merchandising layout to ensure maximum sales, safety and great customer, staff and volunteer experience;

· Identifies, researches and makes recommendations on new ReStore locations and reports viability of opening new locations;

· Responsible for maximum effectiveness of operations in order to maximize profitability/contribution to mission;

· Provide monthly report of sales activities, expenses, projects and public relations activities for inclusion in monthly Board of Directors information package;

· Achieve or exceed targets for home improvement product donations from residential and business donors;

· Develop and secure new business donors and referral partner relationships;

· Researches prospect businesses (i.e. in home improvement retail, wholesales, construction and manufacturing) and evaluates potential as a GIK donor or referral partner;

· Ensures adherence with GIK processes to government regulations and requirements related to tax-receipting and record keeping;

Qualifications:

· 3+ years of related work experience as a manager in retail

· 3+ years experience in procurement

· Post Secondary Education

· A strong leader with matching work ethic and excellent problem solving skills

· Must be a team player

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain deadlines

· Have a clean driving record with own transportation

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Emotional maturity and high-level of professionalism

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
